Moderately Priced El Salvador Hotels and AccommodationsEl Salvador hotels are sprinkled throughout the city. Many of them range in price. It's best to do a little homework prior to booking online. We stayed at the Beverly Hills Hotel & Suites For the first three days our room consisted of two queen-size beds and one bathroom. On the fourth day we upgraded to a suite with a king size bed, front room and kitchen. The kitchen was worth the increase in payment. The stove, microwave and refrigerator were great for storing and reheating food. Complimentary breakfast is included every morning, which made this our favorite place.
It didn't matter how close in proximity the hotel was to the hospital because we had a driver/guide that took Cynthia to her appointments, dropped her off at the hotel and was our guide around the city.
He is a young man that speaks Spanish and knows his way around town. So if you have any questions as far as restaurants or night life, he is "the guy" to ask. If we had preferred to rent a vehicle, there are plenty of car rental agencies in the city. Some include Hertz, Budget and Alamo.
